Fresh to the Chef Online Orders Terms and Conditions
Orders and Access
Please complete the online registration. If you are an existing customer Fresh to the Chef will enable access to the secure online ordering sections of the Fresh to the Chef website and contact you to advise of this. If you are a new customer Fresh to the Chef will contact you to make arrangements for Direct Debit payment of your order(s). Once these arrangements are complete Fresh to the Chef will enable access and contact you to advise of this.
Some quoted prices and weights on the Fresh to the Chef website are subject to change / variation (such as seasonal produce by weight). The actual prices and weights of many products may be slightly different from the quoted prices and weights. You will receive a printed invoice with your delivery. Actual invoice amounts will differ from quoted amounts (and are usually slightly more as per Kilo product weights are the minimum target picking weights). If you have any questions regarding your invoice please contact us.
All prices on the Fresh to the Chef website are in New Zealand Dollars and are exclusive of GST.
All product images on the Fresh to the Chef website are illustrative of the products we sell and are not images of the actual products.
Products may be ordered by individual Units (by the each, punnet or bag etc.) or by Kilos (by 1kg, 12.4kg, 0.05kg etc.) or in some cases both by Units and Kilos. In the case of Units the products will be either the exact weight or the estimated average weight of that product (actual weights may be slightly more of slightly less). The weights of products ordered by Kilo are the target minimum picked weights (actual weights will tend to be more rather than less).
We will do our best to fill very order, but circumstances beyond our control may cause products to be unavailable. In such event Fresh to the Chef may elect to replace a product for a similar substitute product. If you are not completely happy with any substitute product please contact us immediately.
We guarantee every product we deliver to you. If you are unhappy with any product in your order, please contact Fresh to the Chef straight away.
Every time you make an order Fresh to the Chef will email you with a confirmation of your order and delivery time. You can also check the details of any order you have previously made by logging in and going to the Order History page in the My Account section of our website.
Fresh to the Chef will retain some of your information to make your shopping experience easier, and if you have chosen to join our newsletter mailing list we will email you the details of specials we have running and any new products and news that might be of interest. Your user information is not passed on to any third party.
You acknowledge that your username and password to the Fresh to the Chef system is your sole responsibility and agree to notify Fresh to the Chef immediately if you suspect your username or password has been disclosed to any disclosed third party.
Fresh to the Chef is and will remain the sole owner of all trade marks, design, copyright work, and you must not copy, alter, modify or reproduce such intellectual property, or allow any other person to do so.
Circumstances beyond Fresh to the Chef control may mean that the internet and/or the Fresh to the Chef online shopping system may go offline. In such case, you agree that in no event shall Fresh to the Chef be liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damage including, but without limitation, loss of use, loss of data, loss of profit, or liability howsoever arising.
Please note: Online orders are submitted to Fresh to the Chef in real time, and it is extremely unlikely Fresh to the Chef will not receive an order that has been successfully submitted. Please check to make sure you have received an email confirmation of your order to Fresh to the Chef. If you do not receive a confirmation of your order by email please contact us to confirm the order.
